Essentials of Sequencing- Earn 8-10 CEU’s.
Students will practice and build a sequence that is focused on the integrated intelligence of the body using Flow methodology and application of the 5 elements and True North in Vinyasa or Flow Yoga Classes. Students will experience and be able to explain what effects asanas in a particular order have on the central nervous system, and that there are many ways to plan an overall class structure. Students will practice, design and apply classes at the beginner, intermediate and advanced level in a vinyasas flow style and learn how to offer modifications and advanced options for an all levels class. As part of an optional homework assignment, students will design and teach a vinyasa class in their local community or virtually and reflect on the structure, focus, elements, breath, energetic experience, level and modifications/advancements. Submission of homework to Crystal Beshears by July 30, 2021 will earn 2 additional CEU’s for a total of 10 CEUs and will also enable individual feedback from Crystal.

Art of Assisting: Adjustments and Enhancements- Earn 8-10 CEUs.
Students will learn how to adjust yoga poses, both verbally and by using hands-on adjustments. In the first morning workshop, students will learn how to land a lead teachers cue in practitioners’ bodies during and following a group asana class with adjustments that match the verbal cues. In the second afternoon workshop, students will learn how to cue verbally, and land physically, hands-on adjustments and enhancements as the lead teacher. Adjustments will be both for keeping students safe and offering alignment support and for taking students deeper into a pose. Submission of optional homework to Crystal Beshears by July 30, 2021 will earn 2 additional CEU’s for a total of 10 CEUs.

Science of Yoga: Anatomy, Health, and More-Earn 8-10 CEUs.
Students will learn basic anatomy as it applies to yoga postures and the body, including the concepts of compression and tensions, and the principles of true north, in common vinyasa poses. Gain confidence in the form and alignment of common vinyasa yoga poses and application in 3 powerful vinyasa variation sequences. Learning will take place in a dynamic discussion and hands on environment and will include a powerful Vinyasa class, and time to practice putting principles into action in small groups and individual teaching with feedback. In addition, students will learn more about the science of yoga, through application of subtle energy, the five elements, and application of simple ayurvedic tools. Earn 2 additional CEU’s by preparing for, teaching and reflecting on a class from the 3 blueprints.
